When experiencing a dental emergency, you don’t have to wait days or weeks to get the dental care you require — it would be in your best interest to get help right away. Have you recently experienced a traumatic dental injury? Are you experiencing sudden oral pain? No need to panic because Scenic Bluffs Dental is here to help. So, what’s considered a dental emergency? Of course, if your tooth is knocked out, this necessitates urgent dental care. In addition to a knocked-out tooth, below are the most common dental emergencies we handle:
If you are experiencing any of the above dental emergencies, you don’t have to wait until the next day to receive dental care. We offer same-day appointments to help save your tooth, prevent oral pain, and curb infections from spreading.
We know accidents are called as such because they are unplanned. But by devising a preventive approach, you can eliminate most dental emergencies. Your first line of defense in preventing dental emergencies is doing the basics — brush twice a day, floss daily, and see a dentist every six months. This way, you can prevent cavities and keep gum disease at bay.
If you are active in sports, invest in a custom-made mouthguard to avoid the risk of injury to your teeth and gums. And if you can’t avoid clenching your teeth at night, consider a nightguard.
To receive urgent dental care, Dr. Jay advocates you include (715) 953-0499 in your contact list so that you can reach us immediately when a dental emergency crops up. Since we understand that the luxury of time isn’t available when a dental emergency knocks on your door, we respond swiftly because your health and comfort are our priority.
