The process of getting porcelain veneers is broken up into two stages: the initial preparation stage and the final bonding stage. During the first, we prepare your teeth for the veneers by removing a very minor amount of tooth enamel. This extra room allows for the veneers to be placed without looking unnatural or feeling bulky. Then, we take molds of your prepared teeth to use when creating your custom, well-fitting veneers.
Once we have your dental veneers in hand, we’ll bring you back to our office to place them. We bond them to your teeth with a special adhesive and light. Before sending you off to enjoy your new smile, we’ll make sure everything looks and feels great.
